Hopeless is the brainchild of writer, strategist and entrepreneur Benjie Hughes. Benjie’s a recovering musician and an unapologetic story nerd who reads comic books and watches princess movies as if they were literature.
In his 20s, Benjie invented the membership recording studio.
In his 30s he built and scaled a music business, playing hundreds of events a year.
For 15 years he worked as copy and strategy lead at a variety of small agencies in the Boston and Chicago suburbs.
What Benjie loved was helping organizations that had changed express who they were now. What he loathed was seeing teams lose sight of that expression in painful, prolonged development cycles that left clients frustrated and agency creatives burned out.
So: No more of that.
